Former ‘LA Hair’ Star Kim Kimble Snags New Reality Show
Kim Kimble will be making a return to a small screen. Kimble is a celebrity hairstylist who became a staple in the Hollywood hair industry. In 2012, Kimble starred on WeTV’s L.A. Hair.
L.A. Hair debuted on May 31, 2012 and was originally titled Hair Divas: Hollywood. The series followed celebrity stylist Kim and her staff at her salon, Kimble Hair Studio. The fifth and final season of L.A. Hair premiered in 2017.
Reality TV aside, Kimbles clientele extends to Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, and Nicki Minaj. In fact, Kim was recently featured in ELLE with Minaj.
Aside from hair, Kimble has been quietly prepping a new hair competition series which will pave the way for new up and coming hairstylists. Titled Making the Cut , the series will reportedly premiere on BET. Kimble has begun a nationwide search for fresh and creative licenses hairstylists who are in hopes to be named the next “celebrity hairstylist.” Kimble revealed,
I’m developing a new show for BET and I’m looking for the best licensed hairstylist from all over the country. If you think you have it what it takes, I want to hear from you!
She continues,
I’ve worked with the best and now I only want the very best for my show.
The behind the scenes developments for the new series have been well underway, and we’re told Dr. Holly Carter will executive produce.
