Chris Brown Arrested In West Palm Beach [Mug Shot]
Chris Brown Arrested After Performance In West Palm Beach
An incident that occurred last year has finally caught up to Chris Brown. Immediately following the singer’s concert at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Chris was arrested on an out of county warrant for felony battery.
The outstanding warrant comes from an incident that occurred between Brown and a photographer in a Tampa Bay area nightclub in April 2017. Bennie Vines, the in-house photographer for Aja Channelside, the nightclub that booked Chris for a paid appearance last year, says he sustained several injuries after being sucker punched by Brown.
Vines says he was snapping photos of the pop star when Brown’s team shut him down saying no photos. Later, when Brown was at the DJ booth, Vines says he was behind the singer taking crowd shots when Brown took notice and things escalated. The photographer says Chris jumped over a couch and punched him in the face. Police were called to the scene but Brown and his team fled before they arrived.
Chris was booked into Palm Beach County jail at around 11 pm on Thursday night. He posted a $2,000 cash bond and was released shortly after.
Despite the drama, the show must go on. Brown’s “Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour” continues Friday night at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. The singer referenced the show on Instagram, posting a photo with the caption:
What’s NEW????? Show tomorrow!!!!
His camp has yet to release a statement.
