Whoopi Goldberg Denies Spitting On Jeanine Pirro During ‘The View’ Backstage Altercation
Judge Jeanine Pirro appeared on The View on Thursday to plug her new book, “Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy.” Also on the show that day was Ana Navarro, who was filling in for Joy Behar. Ana is very vocal about being anti-Trump. An insider claims that Jeanine was not pleased that Ana was on the show.
When Jeanine arrived on set she was looking for a fight and refusing to be on with Ana, demanding [Ana] not be in the segment. [Pirro] was yelling at [‘The View’] executive producer and her staff like, ‘You need to handle this.’
That was just the beginning of the issues Pirro was going to have that day. During the taping, Pirro accused Whoopi Goldberg of having “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Whoopi responded:
Listen, I don’t have ‘Trump derangement syndrome. Let me tell you what I have. I’m tired of people starting a conversation with ‘Mexicans are liars and rapists. What is horrible is when the president of the United States whips up people to beat the hell out of people … Say goodbye. I’m done!

The host then stormed off set to where her confrontation with Pirro later continued backstage. A source claims many words were exchanged in the back. Jeanine recounted the incident during an interview with Sean Hannity. She explained,
When I went off the stage, Sean, I’m walking downstairs and I said something like, ‘Whoopi, I fought for victims my whole life,’ and she came at me as I was leaving and she said ‘F you’ in my face — literally spitting at me, ‘F you, get the F out of this building.’ And I said to her, ‘did you just say that?’ She said that’s what I said, ‘get the F out of this building’ and she was screaming at me and I’m walking out of the building like a dog who was just kicked off.
Another source adds,
Jeanine could have walked by her. There was one more segment to do. She could have walked by her easily, she put her finger in her face and said, ‘I’ve done more for abused women than you will ever do’ and that’s when Whoopi said, ‘You and I have never had a problem,’ before everything else was said.
Whoopi has since apologized to the show’s viewers and denies she spat on Pirro. Watch the video below.
