Braxton Sisters Ignore ‘Braxton Family Values’ Premiere
As they sing in the theme song, they are “the Braxtons and we’ll see”, apparently the singing sisters are putting their foot down with WeTV and Magical Elves Production Company.
As we previously reported, Toni, Trina, Towanda, Tamar, Traci, and their mother Evelyn refused to record the second half of season six until their contracts were renegotiated.
In fact they walked out on an episode being taped in Atlanta this past June.
Tamar recently hinted at the fact that the network created family issues for ratings. She said:
“We STARTED having major OVER THE TOP family issues because some network wanted to compete with old love and hip hop numbers, And felt that our family was to “perfect” and un relatable ? ( Thats another story)…But only to realize that our problems are JUST like everyone else’s.. AND this BLACK FAMILY IS FINE THE WAY WE ARE!!!!”
That second half of the season premiered last night on WeTv, and none of the Braxton family members acknowledged it on social media. Could this be the end of the show as we know it?
In the meantime, conflict between the production team and the Braxton sisters is eluded to being shown on camera on this half of the season.
