Taraji P. Henson’s Movie Pushed Back
Taraji P. Henson’s upcoming film, What Men Want, will be released a month later than expected. Initially the Paramount Pictures movie was set to hit theaters Jan. 11. It will now be released on Feb. 8.
“What Men Want” is a remake of the Mel Gibson comedy “What Women Want.” The romantic fantasy-comedy film stars Taraji and is directed by Adam Shankman. It also stars Aldis Hodge, and Tracy Morgan.
Taraji plays Ali Davis, a successful sports agent who’s constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When Ali is passed up for a well-deserved promotion, she questions what more she needs to do to succeed in a man’s world… until she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts! With her newfound power, Ali looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar, but the lengths she has to go to will put her relationship with her best friends and a potential new love interest to the test.
“What Women Want,” directed by Nancy Meyers, was a major hit for Paramount with $374 million in worldwide grosses.
