EXCLUSIVE: Beyonce & Charlamagne Listed As Potential Witnesses Against Tiffany Haddish In Lawsuit
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, new details have surfaced regarding the lawsuit that Tiffany Haddish has been hit with by her ex husband, William Stewart. We broke the story back in December, that William was prepping a lawsuit.
William, along with his mother Elnora Daughtery, are suing the 38-year-old actress; Simon & Shuster, Inc. (the company responsible for publishing her book “The Last Black Unicorn”) and Tucker Tibor Max (the author who also wrote the book) in Travis County, Texas. They are suing for more than $1 million.
According to court documents obtained by theJasmineBRAND, William and his mother have a list of potential witnesses of persons having knowledge of the relevant facts, and a brief statements of each identified person’s connection with the case.
The docs list Beyonce Knowles Carter as a potential witness. When describing the statement of connection with the case it notes,
“Has knowledge of defendant Haddish’s propensity for lies and making
up false stories for Ms. Haddish’s own personal aggrandizement.”
It’s speculated that they may be referencing the controversy surrounding Haddish alluding to actress Sanaa Lathan biting the singer at a party. [Click here for the back story].
The docs also lists The Breakfast Club radio personality Charlamagne Tha God (real name Lenard Larry) as a potential witness. When describing the statement of connection with the case it notes,
“Knowledge of the public contempt and ridicule William Stewart suffered.”
Tiffany and William married in 2008 and divorced five years later. William, who is described as a US Army vet, former police officer and current employee on the US Air Force base, claims that in her book, she lied and damaged his reputation. In the lawsuit, he notes a number of false accusations that Tiffany penned in her memoir.
