Matt Barnes Gets A Restraining Order Against Gloria Govan, Must Stay 100 Yards Away From Children
The war between Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan continues. Days after Govan was arrested during a dispute over the former couple’s twin boys, Barnes has filed a restraining order against his ex on behalf of their children.
According to the restraining order, the former Basketball Wives star must stay 100 yards away from the kids.
She’s allowed one weekly visitation with the boys for four hours, but only with supervision from a professional monitor. Gloria is also not allowed to take the children outside of L.A. County unless given written permission by Barnes.
Samantha Spector, Matt Barnes’ attorney says,
Today wasn’t about Matt or Gloria. It was about the children and their safety. This was a good day for those kids, and that’s all that matters.
Matt and Gloria are due back in court at the end of the month. At that time, Gloria can contest the arrangement. Neither have commented on social media. This week, the former NBA star posted a message on social media, which some believe is directed at the current situation.
