Angela Bassett Responds To Outlet Mistaking Her For Omarosa Manigault-Newman
The New York Times recently caught some flak for mistaking Angela Bassett for a former White House Communications Director. In a caption to a photo of which captures Tiffany Haddish and Bassett presenting an award to Rachel Brosnahan, the American Horror Story actress is identified as Omarosa Managuit-Newman.

Reportedly, on Tuesday, the Buzzfeed writer shared the error while reviewing the early editions of the publication’s covering for the 2018 Emmy’s. The NY Times responded to the mistake early Tuesday morning. Tweeting,
