Kanye West Plans To Meet With Donald Trump This Week
After weeks of praising Donald Trump and donning his Make America Great Again hat, Kanye West plans to head to the White House this week, according to multiple reports. There are no details as to what West and Trump plan to discuss but some reports say that he would like to talk to Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, about the availability of job opportunities for former convicts.
Two weeks ago, as a musical guest on SNL, Kanye West exclaimed that Democrats took
“the fathers out the home and put them on welfare.”
Following his SNL rant, Ye made repeated attempts to set up a meeting between Donald Trump and Colin Kaepernick.
Colin did not respond publicly to Kanye’s request.
Back in May, Kim Kardashian met with Donald Trump and was successful in commuting the sentence of Alice Johnson. Kanye previously met with Trump in December 2016, before he was sworn into office, but they’ve traded public praise of one another over social media.
