Drake Reunites With Chris Brown On Stage After 9 Years

The beef between Drake and Chris Brown is officially squashed! This was confirmed over the weekend, by Drake when he brought Breezy on stage with him during the Los Angeles stop of the Aubrey And The Three Migos Tour.

Chris Brown and Drake haven’t really seen eye to eye ever since they got into a dispute over Rihanna and ended up hurling bottles at each other at a New York nightclub in 2012. Even though they’ve eventually remained cordial in public, even appearing in a skit at the ESPYs in 2014, the two have not collaborated musically in any capacity — until now.

While at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Drake continued his act of making amends with his former enemies by bringing Chris Brown on stage. On Friday night, Drake introduced the singer to the stage. He said,

This is something I waited a long time for. I’ve got the utmost respect for him. I think this guy is one of the most talented human beings on the planet. I never really got my chance to show it so I figured tonight at the Staples Center, with each and every one of y’all, would be the perfect time to share this moment. 

Needless to say, fans were surprised as Breezy performed “Party”, “Freaky Friday” and more.

Drake took to Instagram to post a photo of him and Chris Brown on stage, confirming that this was a monumental moment. He captioned the photo:
