EXCLUSIVE: Love & Hip Hop’s Shay Johnson Hospitalization Addressed – It’s A Personal Medical Issue
theJasmineBRAND Love & Hip Hop’s Shay Johnson’s rep has released an exclusive statement about the reality star’s hospitalization. She tells us,
Shay is going through a very personal medical issue right now and is surrounded by friends and family. She asks for your continued support and is thankful for all the calls, text. DMs, well wishes and prayers.
Shay recently took to Instagram to update fans on a recent health scare. She was admitted into the hospital over the weekend and although she did not reveal what caused her hospital stay, she did inform fans that she needed a blood transfusion.

Johnson posted a series of videos on Instagram and Instagram Stories. She said in one post:
Now I have to have a blood transfusion because my blood is low, I’m dizzy. So I have to have a blood transfusion.

She captioned another video:
Pray for me ??!
Friends and family have been visiting Johnson in the hospital, where she remained on Monday.
