Wu-Tang & Teyana Taylor Team Up For Lipstick Collection, Lipstick Costs $55 A Tube!
What do you get when Wu-Tang Clan joins forces with Teyana Taylor? A lipstick collaboration with Milk Makeup that has everybody talking.
The cruelty-free/vegan lipsticks come in 8 shades inspired by the Wu — Chi, Fire, Ruckus, Frequency, Source, Cypher, Flow and Sacred. If the colors don’t wow you, the beautiful packaging will. Each lipstick comes in a black and gold package that pays tribute to kung fu and features a gold dragon engraved on the tube.

This isn’t some cheap stuff, either. Each lipstick is selling for $55 and is guaranteed to unleash a longwear payoff to power you throughout the day. The colors vary from a high shine to a dimensional glitter or nourishing matte with ingredients that include antioxidant-rich sacred lotus water, cherry blossom, and ginseng.
As for why the Wu decided to get into the beauty game, RZA says,
Beyond the common denominator of Wu’s and Milk’s NYC cultural background, I’m excited about this collaboration for the Yin, or Feminine energy, that it invokes. Milk Makeup has been bold in creating beauty products with unique ingredients. This collab dives deeper into that realm and I’m sure will inspire the Wisdom Beauty and Strength of today’s Modern Warriors.
RZA felt that there was no better feminine energy better suited to help pass the culture and wisdom of Wu onto the next generation than Teyana Taylor so they tapped the R&B singer as the face of the collab.
Besides lipstick, the Wu-Tangx Milk Makeup collab also consists of a 24K gold mirror and custom Wu-Tang pins.
