Beyoncé cuts ties with Sir Philip Green and buys out Ivy Park share
Beyonce is ending her business relationship with Topshop tycoon, Sir Philip Green. According to reports, the singer cut ties with Green after claims surfaced of him harassing and bullying employees.
Reportedly, her Parkwood company bought out his 50% share in Ivy Park, the clothing label she launched with Green’s Arcadia Group in 2016. Ivy Park said in a statement:
“After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100% of the Ivy Park brand. Topshop/Arcadia will fulfil the existing orders.”
Beyoncé and Green began their collaboration in 2014, when Ivy Park went on sale at Topshop two years later.
As previously reported, Green had been accused of acting inappropriately by five employees. The allegations included sexual harassment and racist abuse. Green has denied the claims.
