Tank Apologizes For TGT Group Split: We Failed You & I’m Sorry!

Tank Reminisces on His TGT Days: “We failed you and I’m sorry”
It’s been five years since the release of supergroup TGT’s first and only album together, “Three Kings,” and fans are still licking the wounds of their break-up. The group was comprised of R&B superstars Tank, Ginuwine and Tyrese. They officially split just two years ago after many nasty social media disputes. But Tank recently reminisced on his time in TGT on Instagram, admitting that they failed their genre and their fans. He said:
“@therealtank We were the future of r&b! Supposed to inspire more artist to stay in the r&b race, encourage more labels to spend more money on r&b music, remind the people why they fell in love with r&b music in the first place, and cement our legacy as the kings of this shit! We failed you and i’m sorry.. #TGT #RnBMoney #TheGeneral”

Tank’s fond thoughts about his former group may come as a surprise considering their messy fallout. As we previously reported, Tank says TGT split as a result of Tyrese demanding to be paid more.
Could Tank’s Instagram post spark a reunion conversation with his TGT group members? Let us know in the comments.
