Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott To Produce The Clark Sisters Biopic
Legendary gospel group, The Clark Sisters, have a movie about their life on the way and fans cannot wait. The group recently took to their official Instagram page to announce the biopic.
It is with great anticipation that we share with you the story of the Clark Sisters “You Brought The Sunshine” coming early 2019 we are so excited.
You Brought The Sunshine: The Story of the Clark Sisters is set to premiere in 2019. Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, and Missy Elliott have all signed on to executive produce the film which will air on Lifetime.
The Clark Sisters, which consist of sisters Jacky Clark Chisholm, Denise Clark Bradford, Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Karen Clark Sheard, have 20 albums under their belt and even more if you count their solo projects. They most recently performed “Is My Living In Vain” at Aretha Franklin’s funeral in August.
