Roberson, who was working security, returned fire, subdued the gunman and reportedly pinned him to the ground until cops arrived. Kanye West has heard about the story and decided to give back in a major way. On Friday, he donated $150,000 to Roberson’s family. Roberson’s family had previously started a GoFundMe after his death. The goal was only $10,000 and had already earned over $140,000 after over 4,000 people donated.
Roberson had been working extra shifts to buy his 9-month-old son Christmas gifts. He also had another baby on the way. Condolences to Roberson’s family.
