XXXTentacion’s Son Will Be Named After A Word He Invented – Gekyume

Shortly after his untimely death, XXXTentacion’s mother revealed that the rapper and his girlfriend were expecting a child.

Three days after XXXTentacion’s death, his mother posted a sonogram photo on Instagram. She captioned the photo:

“He left us a final gift.”

Since then, she’s been using her Instagram page to update fans on the progress of the baby. In August, she announced that the baby was a boy and this week she revealed his name.

His name is Gekyume. 

Gekyume was a word invented by XXXTentacion that meant “a different state” or “next universe of thought.”  He created the word months before his passing and introduced it to the world on Instagram back in March.
