Kanye West Shoots His Shot With Jay-Z At A “Throne 2”
Kanye West and Jay-Z’s relationship became a spectacle on Friday after the release of Meek Mill’s latest album “Championships.” Jay delivered a verse on “What’s Free” which had listeners wondering if he was taking shots at Donald Trump or West.
While Jay as already took Twitter to address the confusion over the stanzas, West thought it would be the perfect time to step in and ask for a special request. West responded to the clarity tweet,
Throne 2 [shrugged shoulder emoji]
West’s throne reference is to the joint album he and Jay-Z released in 2011, “Watch The Throne.” The album didn’t receive much commercial success, but became a fan favorite among West and Jay listeners. Rumors poked at the possibility of a subsequent album not happening, but maybe things could change.
