Afterward, Cardi went on social media, explaining how she felt. She noted that she didn’t like surprises and their split has been hard because it’s public and she just wants things to quiet down. She also says that she does not like the public disrespecting Offset, because he’s family and his the father of her child.

Even though I’m hurt and going through a f*cked up stage right now, I don’t want nobody, f*cking talking crazy about my baby father. Like that’s real – I smack b*tches and I’ll f*ck n*ggas up. I’ll bury a block for my homie. Period, I don’t give a f*ck.

She also says,

I get what he’s doing and he’s trying…it’s hard and it’s going to take a long time to – I don’t know what’s gonna happen next I really don’t know but I’m not gonna let y’all f*ckin’ bum a** b*tches and you wack a** n*ggas talk sh*t about my n*gga. As previously reported, earlier this month Cardi announced that they had split, ending their year long marriage. It is speculated that Cardi pulled the plug over Offset’s infidelity.
