Sherri Shepherd Gets Stranded, Asks Public For Help In Contacting Friends, Gets UN-stranded

Sherri Shepherd experienced a Christmas holiday for the books. After dropping her son off with his father, the actress says she was stranded near a 7-11 in Orange County, CA. She explained her whereabouts in a video shared to her Instagram, claiming her phone’s service was unable to connect to an app like Uber or Lyft. She says in the video,

Can I tell you sometimes stuff sucks? I am stranded because my phone has no service to call Uber or Lyft, it won’t connect. So I’m stuck out here, by myself and that doesn’t scare me. But I have no cash, I just have my credit card(s), I can’t get in touch with any of my friends, because they’re out celebrating. This is the reason for the season, but Jesus, I’m stranded, and I need somebody to call me an Uber and I can CashApp you the money.

Shepherd’s caption read,

I am stranded near my ex-husband… my phone won’t connect to a ride app. can somebody tell @niecynash1 @kstew222 @iamjamiefoxx @kevinhart4real @fluffyguy @thejacobvargas @kattwilliamsthetruth @donniemcclurkin @iamwandasykes @jawnmurray @chrisrock @marlonwayans to call me an @uber or @lyft and get me out of here! You don’t realize how dark and cold it is until you are stranded!

About an hour later, Shepherd shared a subsequent video, praising everyone for their support, and thanking people who helped her make it to her destination in Hollywood. She said,

Hey Everybody! Just an update, I finally found somebody to call me an Uber. Thank you, Aspen, my Goddaughter. Shoutout to Niecy Nash, who called three times, but the Uber kept going to Hollywood instead of Orange County. The outpouring of support and people checking on me….I appreciate you…everybody…Merry Christmas!
