Kerry Washington Continues To Question CBS News For Not Hiring Black Reporters For Upcoming Political Campaign
Kerry Washington inquired why CBS News failed to appoint any African-American reporters within their 2020 Campaign Reporting Team on Sunday (Jan. 13). Washington tweeted,
Dear @CBSNews, I am encouraged by the diversity you DID include. But when it comes time to discuss the inevitable role that race and racism will play in the election, who will you turn to for a perspective with nuanced & personal understanding of the African American experience?

While her question has gained attention from supporters inquiring the same, Washington’s question has gone unanswered. She quote tweeted her original question on Tuesday stating,
No but wait… @CBSNews, I’m not trying to have a moment on twitter. This is a genuine question.

How do you think network will respond? Let us know in the comments.
