Wu-Tang Series Cast Revealed – Ashton Sanders, Shameik Moore & Erika Alexander Cast
The “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” series is well its on way, as Hulu has cast six regulars for the impending scripted digital show. Production for the 10-episode series has yet to be announced, but the director and writer have been identified.

The RZA and Alex Tse created, wrote, and are executive producing, while Chris Robinson, the same director for various episodes of “Star” and “The New Edition Story” will direct and co-executive produce the pilot. According to reports, the series is inspired by two novels “The Wu-Tang Manual” and “Tao of Wu” and will tell the story of inception for the Wu-Tang Clan, beginning in the early ’90s.
Wu-Tang member Method Man will executive produce, while other Wu-Tang members Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA, and the Estate of Ol’ Dirty Bastard will serve as consulting producers on the project.
Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo will also executive produce via Imagine Television, in addition to the creative executive James Seidman who will oversee the project for Imagine.
“Moonlight”‘s Ashton Sanders will play The RZA, “The Get Down”‘s Shameik Moore will play Sha Rader, Siddiq Saunderson as Dennis Coles (Ghostface Killah), “Power”‘s Marcus Callender as Power Grant, “Bride Wars'” Zolee Griggs as Shurrie, and “The Cosby Show”‘s Erika Alexander as Linda.
