EXCLUSIVE: BET Prepping “Trap Queens” Docu Series About Female Criminals

theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, BET is allegedly prepping a new spin-off docu series of “American Gangster”. The series is reportedly called “Trap Queens” (working title).

The original docu series ‘American Gangster’ profiled some of the most infamous crime figures in black America, using archival footage, photographs and interviews with people familiar with the cases — police officials, defense attorneys and former associates of the criminal in question. Profiles include Crips co-founder Stanley “Tookie” Williams, crack king “Freeway” Ricky Ross, heroin kingpin Leroy “Nicky” Barnes, and cop killer Lorenzo “Fat Cat” Nichols.

We’re told that ‘Trap Queens’ will allegedly focus on women criminals. No further details about the series have been revealed.
