B2K Insists Everything Is Fine, A Day After Raz B Quit Tour Saying He Didn’t Feel Safe Because of Chris Stokes [VIDEO]
B2k wants their fans to know that all is well. On Wednesday the group’s four members shared a video message, captioning it:
S/O to everyone for the love and support! Rochester, NY get ready for us! #TheMillenniumTour #B2K #Omarion #Boog #Fizz #RazB
See the clip below.
The group’s announcement comes amidst group member, Raz B, taking to his Instagram Story to declare that he was quitting the “Millennium Tour” within their first week on the road. He typed this initial message:
“RAZ B IS OFFICIALLY OFF THE MILLENNIUM TOUR! I DON’T SAFE!”
He, then, recorded a video of himself explaining that if their former manager, Chris Stokes, would be on the tour, he wouldn’t feel safe enough to continue. Raz B, once, accused Chris of sexual molestation. Raz said:
“Actually, let me correct myself. Raz B is officially off the tour. I don’t feel safe because I feel like Chris Stokes is around. So guess what? I’m off the tour. Good luck to everybody. No disrespect to Omari because he’s my brother. Omari if you want to come talk to me and you want me to do the tour, I’ll do the tour, but I’m officially off the tour, k?”
Raz B later retracted his previous statement about leaving the tour, calling himself a “work in progress.”
In a 2007 interview with MTV, Raz B and his brother, Ricardo alleged that Chris, likely, forced all of the members of B2K to engage in sexual acts with him. Raz said:
“It all started with Chris Stokes. It started one day when Chris was like, ‘Let me touch you’…I can’t speak for everybody, but if you want my personal opinion, I think he did [touch all the other group members].”
Ricardo said:
“Chris made me take showers with the other boys…All that little sh*t that my brother was introduced to, that sh*t was brought to me first, and I blocked that sh*t. I wasn’t with it, I backed off…I kinda knew what was going on over there, and yet I took my brother over to Chris. I didn’t protect him like I should have. [He] molested my brother and he molested me.”
In the wake of “Surviving R. Kelly,” Chris Stokes took to Twitter this past January to deny the allegations once again.
