Lil’ Kim Reveals Her Fifth Studio Album Title and Release Date

Over the weekend, rap icon, Lil’ Kim announced during a performance in Atlantic City the title and date for her upcoming album. Nearly 14 years since her last album, the Queen Bee shares with fans the release date of her forthcoming album is set for May17th.

During her set, she told concertgoers:

“Alright, well I’m here… F*ck it. May 17th.”

Queen Bee continued, also revealing her title for the upcoming album.

“‘Nine’. The album. It’s my fifth album.”

Over the last year, Queen Bee has been spotted in the studio with some rap fire power artist such as rappers Fabolous, Remy Ma, and even R&B legend, R. Kelly!

As previously reported, Kim was spotted with singer Mya, enjoying the Trinidadian for Carnival. Reportedly, she’s filming a upcoming reality show with May and Chilli from TLC.

The Brooklyn rapper’s last album, The Naked Truth was released September 27, 2005 and sold 394,000 in the United States, peaking at number six on the charts. Her most successful album, which was Kim’s debut album, Hard Core, was released on November 12, 1996, peaking at number three while selling over 1.4 million copies going two time platinum!
