Kris Jenner Speaks Tristan Thompson Scandal For The First Time, Says She ‘Wouldn’t Survive’ Without Prayer

The matriarch of the Kardashian/Jenner family, Kris Jenner, has broken her silence on the Tristan Thompson scandal.

For a brief refresher, Thompson is the ex-boyfriend Jenner’s daughter, Khloe Kardashian. Kardashian and Thompson also share a daughter, True, who will turn one in April. Earlier this year, rumors swirled that Thompson cheated on Kardashian with Jordyn Woods, who is the BFF of Kardashian’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner.

Now, Kris has opened up about the whole ordeal during a recent interview.

“First of all, I pray about it. I really do. I find that, you know, just the spiritual side of me has to kick in because otherwise, you know, I feel like I wouldn’t survive.  As challenging as some of these situations are, I think that because [my kids] have one another and they try to make really good decisions, that they’re gonna come out the other side with a lot of clarity and a lot of honesty and do what they feel like is the right thing. And I really trust all of my kids to make those good decisions.”

 “People watch the show and we remind them of things that their family might be going through, or things that they’re experiencing, or don’t want to talk about. And suddenly here it is, you know, right there for them to watch and see how we might handle it, or go through it, because it’s real. I think that some of the stuff that we’ve been able to show … has been really beneficial.”

Woods shared her side of the story on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk on Facebook TV.

Meanwhile, fans will see the fallout of the scandal on the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In that teaser, Jenner teared up as she cried about her family not being able to catch a break. Kardashian also got emotional as she said she came to the realization that Thompson doesn’t trust her. (He was caught cheating in a previous cheating scandal just days before they welcomed True). Interestingly enough, Kanye West’s Runaway songs where he sings, “Let’s have a toast for the douchebags” was playing in the promo.
