NeNe Leakes Reacts To Fallout W/ Cynthia Bailey: ‘You Don’t Understand How This Broke Me!’ + Kenya Moore Speaks Out

Apparently, the women of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” regard friendship totally differently. This was revealed during last night’s season finale episode where the shocking plot twist to the fallout between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey was revealed. Cynthia threw a launch party to celebrate her partnership with Seagram’s Gin. NeNe felt that because of her beef with former housewife, Kenya Morre, Cynthia should have told her if she were inviting the both of them. Somehow that information got lost in translation! Both women showed up to Cynthia’s peach bellini party.

After a night full of hurt feelings and sharp shade – Tanya Sam, Kandi Burruss, and Marlo Hampton joined NeNe for dinner where she confronted Cynthia for her backstabbing behavior.

This is where the plot thickened. Later in the episode, it was revealed that Kenya’s appearance wasn’t a coincidence. Cynthia and Kandi joined forces to make sure Kenya would be at the party.

As a result, NeNe Leakes feels that she was set up and purposely betrayed by women who she felt were close friends – which will, ultimately, lead to the fiery reunion special where she unfollowed all of the housewives on Instagram. NeNe said this of the finale episode on Twitter:

“YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS BROKE ME! I will NEVER be ok! NEVER! So much has happened that you don’t get to see! Thank God they showed this and gave me a little rope! I’m broken! My sisterhood was real REAL!”

Kandi also took to Twitter to defend her intentions. She said:

“I did not lie. Cynthia didnt know for sure that Kenya was coming. I told her I would TRY to get Kenya there. Kenya didn’t even give me a definite yes until I got to the party & she asked me not to go in until she got there because she decided to come at the last minute.”

However, Kandi understands that it looks like she was in cahoots with Cynthia to purposely take NeNe down.

Meanwhile, Cynthia and Kenya are unapologetic in their belief that they should be able to invite whomever they want and celebrate anywhere they want.
