Jhene Aiko Says New Song Isn’t A Diss Track, As Fans Speculate She’s Taking Aim At Ex Big Sean

Jhene Aiko is officially ended speculation that her new track ‘Triggered’ is an actual diss track. The 31-year-old singer released the track, which immediately went viral. Fans speculated that Jhene was subliminally singing about her ex boyfriend, 31-year-old Big Sean. On one part of the track she sings,

“Don’t know what I’m capable of. Might f*** around and go crazy on cuz. Might f*** around, have to pay me in blood. This ain’t the way that you want it. Might catch a case in this b****. Don’t let me catch you face-to-face in this b****. Tryin’ my hardest not to disrespect you. After what you did, man, what you expected? You muhf***er.”

Jhene responded seemingly to the speculation as to who or what the track was about. She Tweeted:

“triggered” was a moment. a moment that for me has passed. it is new to you because ur just now hearing it, but for me… it’s something i moved on from the moment i expressed it.

triggered is NOT a diss song. it is a moment of talking shit out of frustration and passion. it’s was a moment of exaggerated expression when I was feeling lost and weak. no one is to be blamed or bashed for how I was feeling in that moment. I am in control of my feelings.

this is how I paint. this is me yelling and throwing paint at a canvas… then going out into the world feeling less tension, more open… more loving. going to bed feeling less stressed, more optimistic.

Jhene and Sean dated from 2016 to 2019. theJasmineBRAND broke the story back in 2018 that there were rumors that their relationship was in jeopardy. Sean has yet to respond to ‘Triggered’. Listen to the track below.
