Idris Elba Making $8 Million For ‘Hobbs And Shaw’ Film

Idris Elba’s debut into the Fast & Furious franchise is reportedly bringing him $8 million. The latest installment of the popular franchise is a spinoff,  Hobbs & Shaw, and Elba’s alleged salary for his role was released.

Elba, who has starred in movies and shows like The Wire, Avengers: Infiniti War, Thor, and Obsessed landed the role last summer. His co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, whose Fast & Furious character Luke Hobbs is the star of the film, showed extra love to Elba on Instagram.

Will Smith is reportedly making $17 million for the forthcoming Bad Boys movie while his co-star, Martin Lawrence, is said to be bringing in $6 million. That film is expected to hit theaters on January . 17, 2020.
