Steph Curry Supports Wife Ayesha Curry Amid Interview Backlash: I’m Proud Of You For Not Being Afraid Of the Potential Bullsh*t
For anyone wondering what Steph Curry thinks about Ayesha Curry’s controversial comments about not getting attention from males, it’s safe to say he’s all for it!
The Golden State Warriors star shouted out his wife of seven years and made it clear he supports her, despite the criticism she’s received.
He wrote,
“Proud of you for being authentic and putting yourself out there – not being afraid of the potential bull s#*# and nonsense that could and did come at you. Way more positive than negative with all of this. Keep being you. I love you”

His message came just after Ayesha became the latest target on social media thanks to comments she made on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk. She said that she’s used to Steph, as an NBA star, getting lots of attention from women. But she vulnerably added that she’s gotten insecure because she doesn’t get attention from males.

She said,
“Something that really bothers me and has given me a sense of an insecurity…Yeah, there are all these women throwing themselves. But me, I don’t have any of that. I have zero male attention. And I begin to internalize that, like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ I’m like, ‘That’s not fair.’ I don’t want it. But it would be nice to know that someone’s looking.”
In the same interview, she said she often has to make her presence known as women have no problem flirting with Steph in front of her.
“Stephen is very nice by nature and he’s very talkative. Everything is always very friendly and sometimes to the point where I’m like, I’m a grown woman so I’ll just insert myself. I’ll be like, ‘Hello. How are you doing?’ I’m OK with it now and obviously, you know, the devil is a liar. The ladies will always be lurking, hoping for their moment and waiting. But for me, I honestly hate it.”
