NeNe Leakes Posts Update On Husband Gregg’s Cancer Battle, “We Are Cancer Free!”

Fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and her husband Gregg Leakes are sure to be overjoyed at the recent news NeNe shared regarding Gregg’s ongoing cancer battle. NeNe just shared the update that her family has been praying for—Gregg is now cancer free according to a social media post by his wife.

Just last week, Gregg Leakes was asking for prayers as he headed to the hospital to have a medical scan to determine if his colon cancer was still present. Well now, the results have obviously come back—and the news is the best that one could hope for. Gregg’s wife, NeNe, let fans know that after a truly tedious battle with cancer, beginning last year, Gregg is officially cancer free!

In a post on her Instagram, NeNe celebrated the news with a photo of a smiling Gregg holding a piece of paper that read, “NO Cancer Found! Praise GOD…”

She also wrote a message in the caption expressing her happiness at the news, stating:

“Look at God! We are overjoyed to say, we saw the doctors for the results of Gregg’s Pet Scan he took last week! Tests show, wait for It…..WE ARE CANCER FREE!!! Yes God! Now I can go give Gregg a black eye since so many thinks he’s abused #f**kcancer #f**kopinions #cancersurvivor #pushthrucaretakers #lifeoftheleakes”

Since RHOA has already started filming months ahead of it’s usual July start date, it’s highly likely that Gregg’s cancer free diagnosis will be documented on the upcoming 12^th season of the hit Bravo reality series. Season 12 should premiere sometime in November, with rumored returning cast member Phaedra Parks.
