Teairra Mari Had Vodka & An Open Can Of Four Loko In Her Car When She Was Arrested For Drunk Driving

More details are coming out about VH1 Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Teairra Mari’s arrest that took place over the weekend.

New reports also allege that Teairra had alcohol like a closed bottle of Vodka and an open can of Four Loko in her car when police stopped her. Four Loko was banned in several states back in 2014 thanks to its dangerous mix of caffeine and alcohol.

Teairra was said to have,

“watery eyes, a flushed face, and an odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath.”

She was also,

“unsteady on her feet.”

She told police,

“I was at a restaurant with friends, I had like three glasses of Pinot Grigio.”

The 31-year-old singer turned reality star was pulled over in New York for allegedly driving drunk without a license. The vehicle she was driving only had three wheels on it. The fourth wheel of the 2014 Dodge Charger came off while she was driving, and Teairra continued without it for another mile as she made her way through the Queens-Midtown tunnel. And that’s not all. The car also had sparks and smoke coming out of it, which got police officers’ attention, causing them to chase her before she was stopped in Long Island City.

She took a breathalyzer test that revealed her blood alcohol content was allegedly .304, almost four times the .08 legal limit.

While she is said to have bragged to police that she was famous, her celebrity status wasn’t enough to help her escape charges like aggravated driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in the car and driving without a license.

This isn’t the first time Teairra’s struggle with alcohol has made headlines. Love & Hip Hop Hollywood viewers saw her back and forth with getting sober on the series. She opened up about her journey on The Real last year.

What are your thoughts on Teairra’s latest incident?
