Willow Smith Confirms Interest In Polyamory & Bisexuality: “Having one partner is too constricting for me!”

Singer Willow Smith‘s allows her to express her views alongside the adult women closest to her – her mother and grandmother – on the talk show, “Red Table Talk.” On the show, the 18-year-old consistently opens up to viewers with out-of-the-norm views and revelations – including that she once struggled with self-harm.

Willow’s latest shocking announcement is that she thinks of herself as sexually fluid. As her mother, actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, hinted – Willow is interested in polyamory. But this isn’t new to us! On a previous episode of “Red Table Talk,” the “Whip My Hair” singer admitted that traditional, one-partner monogamous relationships weren’t for her she said:

“That feeling of ‘You’re my one and my only, there’s no else,’ for me – that would not work.”

Yesterday, (6/24/19) when Jada asked Willow if having one partner was “too constricting” for her, she confirmed:

“Yeah, exactly.”

She says that being attached to one partner could breed feelings of competition and jealousy. Willow commented:

“Monogamy, I feel — this is just personally, just for me — I feel actually inhibits you from learning those skills of evolving past those feelings of insecurity. Just jealousy, you know what I mean?”

Have we ever seen a teenager this open in front of their mother and grandmother? She also toyed with the idea of bisexuality. After admitting that she “loves both sexes equally,” she details the kind of polyamorous relationship she would prefer:

“I would definitely want one man, one woman,” she explained. “I feel like I could be polyfidelitous with those two people. I’m not the kind of person that is constantly looking for new sexual experiences. I focus a lot on the emotional connection and I feel like if I were to find two people of the different genders that I really connected with and we had a romantic and sexual connection, I don’t feel like I would feel the need to try to go find more.”

What do you think of Willow Smith’s liberated views? Let us know in the comments.
