Get ready to get an even deeper look into the life of Wendy Williams.
The daytime talk show host has snagged her own biopic on Lifetime. And she’s slated to be the executive-producer too. It’s set to
“provide a revealing look at Wendy’s journey, from her scrappy upstart days in urban radio to the success of her own syndicated talk show.”
Will Packer will also be a part of the film. He’s known for hit movies like Little, Night School and Girls Trip.
Leigh Davenport, who writes for BET’s “Boomerang” series will write this script as well, rounding out Williams’ all-star team.
Williams’ biopic will be released on Lifetime next year.
News of Williams’ upcoming movie comes after she celebrated a milestone, her 55th birthday, recently.
She also filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, Sr. after more than 20 years of marriage. The two have a son, Kevin Hunter, Jr. together.
