Kim Kardashian Visits DC Department of Corrections To Discuss Prison Reform Initiative
Kim Kardashian isn’t slowing down in her efforts in prison reform. The reality star and future lawyer stopped by the DC Department of Corrections earlier this week.
The organization thanked her for taking the time to come and speak about an upcoming program.
“Thank you @KimKardashian for visiting the DC Jail to discuss the Georgetown Prison Scholars Program and criminal justice reform. We certainly appreciate you sharing and engaging with us!”

Kardashian also looks like she enjoyed it. She wrote,
“Thank you Dr. Howard. You are such a blessing to everyone inside and they need you! All prisons need this program and people like you”

This is Kardashian’s latest move in her initiative for criminal justice. She and her daughter, North West, and her grandmother, MJ, also stopped by the White House earlier this week. She’s no stranger to the White House, and this time she was reportedly there to speak with President Donald Trump about prison reform.

She’s also on track to help prove the innocence of Kevin Keith, a man on death row after being convicted of murder in the 90s. She shared a photo of the two video chatting and wrote,
“Kevin Keith was convicted of a triple homicide back in 1994 in Ohio and was sentenced to death. I heard about Kevin Keith’s case last year & the more I learn about it, the more I believe the world needs to hear what happened to him! He was on death row & came within days of execution before the governor of Ohio commuted his sentence to life w/o parole.”“I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin Keith through a video visit & was so impressed w/ the amazing programs he created in prison to help others inside better themselves! So much evidence has been uncovered proving Kevin’s innocence. I hope justice is served soon & he is released. www.justiceforkevinkeith.org”

She also lobbied with the White House for the release of A$AP Rocky, who was recently charged with assault in Sweden. He’s been held in jail for three weeks since the incident occurred earlier this month.

Unfortunately, Sweden doesn’t have a bail system so A$AP could stay in jail until his trial is over.
