Wendy Williams Biopic to Discuss Drugs, Divorce, and Her Celebrity Date Rape Incident
Details are emerging about the racy, highly anticipated Wendy Williams biopic set to air on Lifetime. According to reports, the movie about the talk show diva will be a lot more controversial than we know!
Sources from Lifetime recently revealed that the movie, tentatively titled “Just Wendy,” will cover how she was doin’ personally and professionally from ages 10 to 55 – including her vicious cocaine habit, sexcapades, and her explosive divorce.
However, two never-discussed-before topics to be covered are her friendship with Academy-award winning comedienne/actress Mo’Nique and being date-raped by an extremely popular musician.
Heavy hitters such as Will Packer and “Boomerang’s” Leigh Davenport will produce and write the film along with Wendy. But despite being backed by big names, Wendy Williams wants a fresh face to play her. She says,
“Somebody unknown, because I don’t want the distraction from the story- do you know what I mean? I would prefer somebody unknown. We start auditions really soon.”
Will you be watching “Just Wendy?”
