A$AP Rocky’s Lawyer From Sweden Shot In The Head
Reports have confirmed that the Swedish lawyer who represented A$AP Rocky in his assault case has been shot in the head.
His first lawyer, Henrik Olsson Lilja, was said to be heading to downtown Stockholm from his apartment when the shooter walked up to him and shot him in the head and his chest. Lilja was reportedly inside of his building when he was shot.
The shooter then headed to an SUV that was waiting for him and left the scene. Lilja reportedly called the police himself. He was in stable and conscious when he called authorities, but his current medical condition is not known right now.
A suspected gunman has been arrested and could face attempted murder charges. According to reports, the suspect is a female senior lawyer who was ordered not to contact Lilja.
Still, witnesses also said the gunman was a male who physically fought with Lilja before shooting.
Swedish police released a statement.
“The police have arrested several people for questioning. The investigation is at an intense stage and the police are working on several different fronts to make progress.”
They also said it is an
“isolated incident with no known connection to recent violent crimes.”
While Lilja served as A$AP’s counsel while he was accused of assault in Sweden, he was replaced with a new lawyer before the rapper went to trial.
A$AP was released from a Swedish jail more than three weeks after being arrested. He was charged with assault and went to trial for allegedly beating up a man who he said was harassing him. He was later allowed to return to the U.S. after his trial ended. He was found guilty but won’t have to serve any jail time.
