Wendy Williams Says Her Biopic Will Address Rumors She Once Hooked Up With Notorious B.I.G.

Wendy Williams’ upcoming biopic is set to dig up some of the most scandalous rumors of her long career. Before her days as a daytime talk show host, Williams was a no-nonsense radio personality in New York City. And rumor has it that she may have been intimate with late rapper Notorious B.I.G. during those days.

While on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live Sunday (Sept. 8), Williams revealed that her biopic, set to air on Lifetime in 2020, will address that speculation. When asked if it was “true she once hooked up with” Biggie, Williams gave the camera her infamous smirk and responded with,

“Okay, that will play out in my Lifetime movie, okay?”

The rumors between Biggie and Williams resurfaced back in 2013 when Biggie’s ex, rapper Lil Kim blasted Williams for allegedly sleeping with the late rapper.

It started when Williams shared her thoughts on Lil Kim’s new look and said,

“Kim, in my mind, I knew your goal was always to look like La Toya Jackson. You’ve out-La Toya’d La Toya in your new look. Don’t blame Photoshopping, blame your plastic surgeon, girl.”

Lil Kim responded on Twitter.

While the biopic will reveal her truth about her history with Biggie, Williams added that viewers won’t see her estranged husband Kevin Hunter, Sr. in a bad light. Williams filed for divorce after it was reported he had a child with another woman earlier this year.

“If you’re looking for me to throw my soon to be ex under the bus, that’s not what’s going to happen. You know, I’m 55, I’ve been doing this for over 3 decades. There’s a whole lot of juiciness that needs to be covered.”
