EXCLUSIVE: Angel Brinks Sues Insurance Company Over Reality Show Shoot, NOT Mona Scott-Young According To Sources
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, TV personality and fashion entrepreneur Angel Brinks is NOT taking legal action against Mona Scott-Young. This week, reports circulated claiming that the former “Basketball Wives” star was suing Mona Scott-Young’s production company over alleged damage done to her property during filming.
An incident is said to have happened last year during the filming of a television show at her Angel Brinks headquarters. Mona Scott-Young was shooting footage for a potential reality show with Brinks for WE tv, when Brinks’ business suffered severe water damage after a sprinkler was broken and sprayed some of her property.
While the incident did happen, sources tell us that Brinks is NOT suing Scott-Young. A source tells us:
“This is strictly a claim with the insurance company NOT Monami [Scott Young’s business) and there is absolutely NO contention or acrimony between Mona and Angel.”
The source continues:
“saying negative things about Monami and their efforts when this happened is FALSE. Angel and Mona are colleagues and friends. They do not have any issues over this unfortunate accident.”
We’re told that there’s no bad blood between the pair and are still good friends. No additional details about Brinks’ lawsuit against the insurance company have been released.
