Bevy Smith Accuses NYC Taxi Driver Of Discrimination, Posts Video Of Him Refusing To Drive Her & Trying To Hit Her Phone Out Of Her Hand [VIDEO]
Bevy Smith had a bad experience with a cab driver in New York City Thursday (Oct. 10), and she’s telling social media about it.
She posted a video of an incident where she claimed the cab driver refused to take her as a customer because she’s Black. In the clip, he also tried to slam her phone down.
She wrote,
“@nyctaxi I’ve been discriminated against by taxi 1R21 he let people off at the @hoteledison I got into his taxi & he said he wasn’t working! As a New Yorker I knew that was a lie, no one’s shift ends at 8:30pm, SOCIAL MEDIA please help me get justice! This man will deny me a ride home & he should know better because I KNOW he’s been discriminated against many times, yet he treats me in a way he wouldn’t want to be treated, a disgrace!”
