President Trump Calls Impeachment Process “Lynching”
President Donald Trump is still expressing his frustration about the possibility of impeachment. Read how the inquiry about an impeachment began here.
This time around, he compared the process to a lynching. He tweeted:
“So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here – a lynching. But we will WIN!”
I am not going to spend the day chasing #45 down his latest rabbit hole of ignorance. Just leaving this here to correct the record re #lynching . #resist #standup #impeachtrump pic.twitter.com/VxElhDK3n4

No, @LindseyGrahamSC what’s happening to Trump is not a lynching “in every sense.”
It is literally not a lynching in any sense whatsoever. None. Zero.
Shame on you.
164 people were lynched in 36 different counties of South Carolina.
You know better
