Kanye West Hints At Black Americans Being ‘Brainwashed’, Says Democrats ‘Are Making Us Abort our Children… Thou Shall Not Kill’
Kanye West is making headlines for his recent remarks about politics. The 42-year-old rapper, who released his album Jesus Is King Friday (Oct. 25), shares his thoughts on black Americans, in relation to politics.
“We’re [Black Americans] brainwashed out here, bro. Come on, man. This is a free man talking. Democrats had us voting [for] Democrats with food stamps for years. What are you talking about? Guns in the Eighties, taking the fathers out the home, Plan B, lowering our votes, making us abort our children… Thou shall not kill.”
He continued,
“I can’t tell y’all how to feel. But what I can tell you honestly is how I feel. And when I sat there seven years in, six years into the Obama Administration, when I was sitting at the Met balls, when I was sitting in front of White people and they thought, ‘I didn’t [think] you’d like Trump because of racism. So you mean to tell me I make every decision based on my color? The most racist thing you can tell me is that I’m supposed to do something based on my race.”
He said if that were true, he wouldn’t make the daring fashion choices that he does, such as wearing a pink polo and skinny jeans.
He added that the LGBTQ community called for a boycott after his song “Closed On Sunday,” which references Chic-Fil-A, a faith-based, fast-food restaurant that has donated to anti-LGBTQ organizations.
As for whether he was worried about his career taking a hit, he said,
“I fear and love God. When you remove the fear and love of God, you create the fear and love of everything else. You’re talking to somebody right now that only fears God and Jesus has won the victory bro. This is my opinion… I ain’t calculating nothing. And God is using us to show off. When I was calculating things, I was ending up in debt. Next thing you know, I’m not even on Instagram, and Yeezy is the number 1 Google searched brand on the planet… and I’m not even a part of the culture, I’m cancelled…”
