Meghan Markle’s Half Sister Accused Of Cyberbullying Her And Prince Harry In Police Investigation

While Prince Harry defends his wife Meghan Markle against the media, it looks like they have another foe that’s a little closer to home.

Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle has been the center of a police probe for allegedly cyberbullying the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from at least 4 different countries.

According to reports, investigators in the U.S. began looking into Samantha after she allegedly posted disturbing messages about her royal half-sister and the Prince. It’s not clear what Samantha is accused of saying exactly, but it was enough to spark concern from officials.

An officer with Florida’s Polk County Sheriff Department said Sunday (Oct. 27),

“There have been multiple reports of allegations of cyber-bullying made. Samantha Markle is aware of this allegation. She has not been arrested. This is an ongoing case and I cannot speculate on a timeline yet or make any other comment.”

An insider added,

“The allegations relate to numerous internet platforms and include complaints from at least four countries, including the UK, Canada and Sweden. It is a large and widespread investigation and is likely to be a long process. The investigation is still at an early stage.”

Interestingly enough, Samantha said earlier this year that she would be releasing two tell-alls about Meghan, who married Prince Harry in May 2018. She initially said they would be called “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister,” before changing the two parts to “In the Shadows of The Duchess.”

“cover everything from behind the scenes that the world does not know about. And trust me, there is a lot.”

She added,

“You’ve got to read my book to see what things were really like. I have a very big mouth and speak my mind — as the world can see — at any cost, even if it makes me unpopular, but I tell the truth even if it makes me unpopular. (I have) never been afraid of the truth because if the truth makes me lose friends then they weren’t friends that I wanted to have anyway.”

“’In the Shadows of The Duchess’ is my way of saying sometimes the most beautiful parts of life are found not in the bright light or the glare of the sun, but in the shadows and through challenges. The title also suggests that there was a lot going on in the shadows that you don’t see and it does not mean that I am in the shadows. It means a lot of life happens in the shadows.”

She already started spilling her side of alleged family secrets.

“My sister was not raised an only child, that is a PR lie. I’m not fluffing anything nor am I insulting or out to disparage. Life is full of a lot of challenges and some really beautiful moments. My book is honest and human about a lot of things including my own accomplishments and shortcomings. It’s reality and anyone in a family can relate.”

“I have spoken the truth about my feelings but have never been out to hurt my sister,” said Samantha. “Any reasonable person would question what she has done to the entire family and this is not about mudslinging it’s about truth and reality. Call it whatever you want but until in the less you read it you have no idea and cannot judge. It is an honest, warm and witty and heartfelt memoir. Not a negative pamphlet.”
