O.J. Simpson Sues Hotel For Telling Media Outlet He Was Forced Off Property For Being Drunk & Disorderly
Be careful what you say about O.J. Simpson.
While there are tons of rumors flying around about the former NFL star, he’s taking legal action over one he says isn’t true.
According to reports, he’s suing the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas with claims that it defamed him when it told a celebrity news site that he was made to leave the property because he was being drunk and disorderly during an incident in 2017.
OJ Simpson, who filed the lawsuit Thursday (Nov. 7), said in court documents that he wasn’t aggressive or hostile, and he never broke glass or damaged any other property. He also stated that he received a notice that said he was not allowed on the property after he was at a steakhouse and lounge for several hours.
The Cosmopolitan has not commented yet.
Simpson is currently on parole after being released from prison in October 2017. He was in jail for nine years for kidnapping and armed robbery.
Simpson was also infamously acquitted in October 1995 for the murder of his estranged wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
Meanwhile, he seems to be living his best life since joining Twitter in June.
