Kenya Moore Is Thinking About Having A Second Child Via Surrogacy ‘It’s Probably The Only Way I Could Have A Child Again’

On the heels of celebrating her daughter Brooklyn Daly’s first birthday in Paris, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” vet Kenya Moore is thinking about baby number two!

This time around, Moore, 48, said she’ll most likely go the surrogacy route.

“I didn’t need to consider [surrogacy the first] time. But now that I’ve had complications after giving birth, it’s probably the only way I could carry, have a child again.”

She said she would love to give Brooklyn a little brother or sister because

“Brooklyn loves other kids. I would like for her to have a playmate and someone who is like her confidant and close [friend], and I want that for her. I just don’t know [when].”

She added that considering she’s “pushing a certain number” she wants to be able to be there for her second child as she’s been for Brooklyn.

Moore shared some of her complications with fans before she and her estranged husband Marc Daly welcomed Brooklyn in November 2018.

She revealed that she suffered preeclampsia and had to give birth early.

Interestingly enough, it’s not clear who she’s eyeing to possibly father her second child. She and Daly, who she married in 2017, recently announced they are going their separate ways.

Moore said in September,

“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband, Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”

She later said in October that the two have been able to successfully co-parent together.

“I’ve had a husband who is helping me raise our child together and I’m thankful that he was in our lives consistently for a great period of time since Brooklyn was born.”
