Fantasia Says She’s Not Doing Anymore Tours ‘The Way That I Perform, It Takes A Lot Out Of Me’
Who doesn’t love a good Fantasia show?!
Unfortunately, the soulful songstress said she’s done touring. Like, for good!
She made a video answering fans’ questions and confirmed that she’s no longer going on tour.
“This is true! Yes it is true. It’s been 16 years for me. The way that I perform and as much as I give, and I can’t help it, it takes a lot out of me.”
But you can still see her live. She added,
“I’d rather prepare shows where there’s like spot dates… one-offs… and do it that way. So yes, this is it!”
She then urged fans to see her on her current tour while they still can.
“If you have not seen the tour, you need to come and see it!”

Fantasia kicked off her tour to promote her new album Sketchbook Friday. Robin Thicke and Tank are on the bill too.

Her tour ending comes 15 years as she rose to fame after taking home the American Idol title in 2004.
Since then, she’s won a host of awards, including a Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for her song “Bittersweet” in 2011.
Do you think Fantasia should stop touring altogether? Tell us in the comments!
