The Weeknd Drops New Single “Heartless”
Singer The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye), 29, has returned with a new track with the help of super producer Metro Boomin’. This is his first new track since dropping My Dear Melancholy in March 2018. The Grammy award winning singer entitles his latest track, “Heartless,” which he alluded to in an Instagram post on Monday (Nov. 25th). Earlier this week, he teased:
“The fall starts tomorrow night.”

In the uptempo track, one verse has caused speculation the the singer is referencing to his on-off relationship with supermodel, Bella Hadid. The Weeknd sings about how his emotions being hardened after going through tough times,
“I thought I lost you this time / You just came back in my life. You never gave up on me / (Why don’t you?) / I’ll never know what you see (Why won’t you?)”

As previously reported back in August, sources close to the singer revealed that the supermodel and The Weeknd were going through a rough patch in their on and off relationship. The source said:
“They have been arguing a lot recently. They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. They have been arguing a lot recently. They haven’t spent quality time together in months.”
The Weeknd announced in August that he was in album mode.

In addition, the source added that The Weeknd and Hadid’s are hoping their split is only temporary.
“They hope to get back together at one point, but for now are focusing on themselves and their projects.”
In his latest track, the singer also alludes to having issues with being single. Which, according to reports, explains why he resumed dating, Hadid shortly after after breaking things off ex, Selena Gomez.
