Dwyane Wade’s Oldest Son Zaire Defends Younger Brother Zion After Backlash Over His Appearance: We Didn’t Ask For Y’all Opinion
Dwyane Wade’s son, Zion Wade, 12, has become a popular topic online following the Wades’ holiday weekend photo. In the viral image, Zion appears to wear a set of fake nails and a mid-drift top, along side of his dad Dwyane, stepmother Gabrielle Union, and baby sister, Kaavia Wade.

Fast forward to Tuesday (Dec. 3rd), Zaire Wade took to Instagram to give all of his baby brother’s critics a piece of his mind. Zaire writes,
“We didn’t ask for y’all opinion”

After defending his brother’s ways of expressing himself, Zaire’s message of support was welcomed by celebrities.

Zion’s clear freedom of expression has always been backed by Dwyane Wade. The former NBA star recently clapped back commenting on the backlash and his stance. He wrote:
“I’ve seen some post-thanksgiving hate on social about my family photo. Stupidity is apart of this world we live in—so i get it. But here’s the thing—I’ve been chosen to lead my family not y’all. So we will continue to be us and support each other with pride, love & a smile.”
Wade has also faced the same father-son backlash after referring to his wife, daughter, and son as:
“My girls”

In addition, earlier this year, Gabrielle accompanied Zion step to the Miami Pride Festival.
