Michelle Obama Sends Message To Climate Change Activist Greta Thunberg After Donald Trump Criticizes Her: Ignore The Doubters!

Santa Claus may need to deliver some encouragement to the Oval Office! Dynamic teenaged climate change activist, Greta Thunberg, was recently given one of the media’s highest honors. TIME named Greta 2019’s “Person of the Year.”

Greta Thunberg, 16, became the poster child for the cause after going head to head with the POTUS in September in what became the largest climate change demonstration in history.

For that, Donald Trump isn’t very fond of her. After TIME recognized her on Twitter, he responded with this tweet – alluding that a teenager shouldn’t be concerned with climate change:

“@realDonaldTrump So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

Greta Thunberg proceeded to change her Twitter bio to the caption:

“A teenager working on her anger management problem. Currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”

Ha! First Lady Michelle Obama, then, stepped in, praising Greta for her efforts with this encouraging tweet:

“@MichelleObama .@GretaThunberg , don’t let anyone dim your light. Like the girls I’ve met in Vietnam and all over the world, you have so much to offer us all. Ignore the doubters and know that millions of people are cheering you on.”
