Amanda Seales Poses With ‘Insecure’ Co-Stars As She Finishes Final Scene For Season 4: See Y’all In 2020!
Season 4 of “Insecure” appeared to be a rocky one for actress Amanda Seales but she made it!
She shared a snapshot along with her co-stars Yvonne Orji, Issa Rae and Natasha Rothwell Friday (Dec. 13) and wrote,
“Thassa wrap on @insecurehbo Season 4 for the hardcore! See y’all in 2020!”

She also saluted the moment with the crew of the show and celebrated with an original song.
It’s good to see Amanda Seales in good spirits after she experienced drama off camera this season.
Most notably, she accused Issa Rae’s publicist, Vanessa Anderson, of banning her from an Emmy Awards after-party earlier this year. She shared her experience on her Instagram via a series of Instagram stories and said,
“For the record, I am being denied entrance to the Black people’s Emmy party. And it’s a White woman telling me I can’t go in. I just want to put this on record that I’m literally being told, ‘You cannot get entrance into a party that Jesse Williams invited you to.’ It’s the only Black event for the Emmy weekend, because a white woman is telling me I can’t get in. But I’m fine.”

Still, she made it clear there was no drama between her and her co-stars.
“The beauty is that we’re all professional people who have worked together for four seasons. And I think we all understand that there aren’t even enough black shows for us to even let that scenario bleed over into what we’re doing. So I’m fortunate to be able to work with folks who understand that. And I think what a lot of people don’t grasp is that when you’re doing television and you’re doing this work, you’re still at work.”
She added,
“We’re friends on the show, but even on the show there are strained moments and ups and downs. So if you’re on the set every day for 15 hours a day, there are going to be those things too. Things happen.”
Congrats to Amanda Seales and the cast & crew of wrapping another season!
